So, rather than sit inside and moan the passing of the coolest dog ever* I spent an enormous amount of time in the garage making furniture this weekend ... mainly a table and two speaker stands.Check em out (click to enlarge)!
I ended up making that table because we found these really pimp chairs at Nebraska Furniture Mart but the table was ugleeee. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out.Also, the basement is officially finished (with the exception of carpet, which is scheduled to occur on the 28th)! My ultimate goal was to have it done by the Super Bowl and it looks like I'm gonna make it ... go me!
*I wrote a blog post about my dog the day he died (explaining the whole situation) but I found it to be so long and depressing that I didn't post it! Maybe I'll post it some time in the near future.
